SUMMARY OF THE MENTOR TEXT:

Jessica was a worrier. She worried about big and small things. She worried about missing the bus, doing her work wrong, and even losing teeth.

One day, her teacher, Mr. Martin, presented that on the 100th day of school, everyone needed to bring in 100 things. Jessica worried- what would she bring?

As other students began to bring in their items, the 100th day crept up and Jessica still did not have anything. Her family quickly helps her to find quite a unique assembly of 100 items! Read to learn how Jessica conquers her worries and how she finds pride in the help received from her family.
