STEP 2: PREP

Prep can be as simple as printing the activity pages (or assigning the included digital version) and finding a free video of the book being read aloud online.

OPTIONAL: If you want to dive deeper into a book study, you’ll find our teaching ideas and slides make it easy to create mini-lessons, anchor charts, and slideshows.

STEP 3: TEACH

BRAVE EVERY DAY SUMMARY

The story Brave Every Day is a story about a girl name Camila who is constantly worried. Her worries follow her everywhere she goes and causes her to have negative self-talk and a fixed mindset.

When Camila hears her class is going on a field trip to the aquarium, she worries about everything that could go wrong instead of being excited. When she tries to hide on the field trip, she sees her friend Kai is already hiding. He is afraid to see the stingrays. He asks Camila if she will go with him and Camila changes her mindset.

Camila realizes her heart is bigger than her fears and instead of thinking that she can’t do something, she starts thinking that she will try new things.
