Presidential inaugural poet, Amanda Gorman, shares that to make change, we all need to work together. Despite background, disabilities, culture, and income, when we come together, we are stronger. Written in the first person, Amanda takes us on an empowering journey as she exudes kindness, inclusivity, and teamwork. With the incredible artistry of Loren Long, students will see the variety of ways that together, we can make a difference. They share that rather than building fences, building bridges, and supporting members of the community that are less fortunate. This heartwarming and impactful story will be sure to get students thinking about the power within ourselves!
