The Scarecrow’s Hat is a circular story filled with adventure, friendship, and problem solving. Perfect for a fall read aloud!

In the story, a chicken admires the scarecrow’s hat. He shares that would gladly swap the hat for a walking stick! The chicken does not have one, but she does know of someone who does. This then sends her on a chase looking for items to swap, and when she finally does get the hat, she creates a happy home that she would not trade for the world.
