SUMMARY OF THE MENTOR TEXT:
Wolfie the Bunny is about a bunny named Dot and her family who find a baby wolf bundled on their doorstep. Dot’s parents take in Wolfie and raise him as their own child but Dot is skeptical. She keeps telling her parents and anyone that will listen that Wolfie is going to eat them all up. She doesn’t trust him.
Then one day Dot and Wolfie go to the Carrot Patch to get more food. They run into a bear and the bear takes Wolfie to eat him. Dot stands up for Wolfie and tells the bear that she is going to eat him up. She scares the bear away and saves Wolfie. Dot changes her mind about Wolfie and finally calls him her brother.
